Deliberate by design, the forested charred cedar Quiet House is a collaboration by once war photographer Farah Nosh and her architect sister Raneen Nosh, of Studio Roas. Four years in the making, every inch of this home has been carefully crafted; clay plaster walls, heated tiled floors, Jotul wood-burning stove, local cedar feature walls, touches of corten steel, and curated art by renowned local artists. Steps from the pristine Tllaal river, you can hear salmon jumping September/October while you make coffee in the sweet little kitchen. The property has access to East Beach, a 10 minute walk away.
