The Space:
Perched on a hillside above Roscoe, New York, Summit Cabin is a completely remodeled mountain chalet with sweeping views and easy access to the legendary waters that made this town "Trout Town, USA." Step through the front door and you're welcomed straight into a fully stocked chef's kitchen, ready for you to cook up a feast after a day on the water or the trails. Just to the right, a dining table invites the group to gather, with a hallway leading beyond to all four bedrooms.
The dining room is one of the home's standout spaces, capped by a dramatic triangle ceiling that gives the room a real sense of height and light. Step outside from here onto the deck, a great spot for morning coffee or an evening drink as the sun drops behind the mountains.
Four comfortable bedrooms offer space for any crowd: two with queen beds, one with a king, and one with a bunk bed, ideal for kids or an extra pair of guests. Two full bathrooms keep mornings moving smoothly no matter how many are staying.
When it's time to unwind, head down to the game room and challenge your crew to a game of pool. On long Catskill summer days or cool fall nights, the patio out back is set up for outdoor dining and grilling, and once the sun goes down, the fire pit makes for the perfect spot to gather while the mountains fade into evening light.

Just steps from the famous Junction Pool, guests can wade into legendary waters or visit the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum nearby. The Roscoe Diner is a local institution for a classic breakfast, while Livingston Manor, ten minutes away, has grown into a foodie destination with acclaimed restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops. Hiking trails wind through the surrounding hills, and the Beaverkill Covered Bridge and swimming holes offer a scenic afternoon outing. Summit Cabin is about 2 hours from New York City and guests should plan to travel around by car as it is a rural area with limited public transportation. The main routes to access the town are the New York State Thruway (I-87) to NY-17W.
In the winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.
