About this house rental
Welcome to the Shoug! Relax with the whole family in this beautiful 3BR/2BA home with a private sauna. 3 min drive to downtown Washougal, 20 min drive to PDX airport, 15 min drive to Washougal Motocross MX, 15 min drive to the beautiful Columbia River Gorge.
Enjoy your time in this spacious 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom home:
-Relax in your own private infrared sauna
-Beds for everyone: one king, one queen, one twin, and a pack and play (if requested)
-Cook your favorite meals in the massive, fully stocked kitchen (including a KitchenAid stand mixer!)
-Get everyone’s laundry done with the in-unit washer and dryer
-Get work done remotely with a standing desk and monitor
-Spend quality time with family or friends with board games and puzzles
There’s one off-street parking spot in the driveway available and plenty of free street parking.
*Please note that while your space is private, the building is shared with another unit - there may be some noise transfer between walls.
*Please note that there is central heating throughout the house, but AC only in the primary bedroom and living room. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms and the living room. The summers are usually pretty mild, and the house generally stays cool.
If you need more room, you can book my other listing (Private Suite Near Columbia River Gorge) that is the adjacent unit. There is a door that I can unlock to grant access between the two private spaces.
HOUSE RULES:
Must state in booking if bringing pets: Max of 2 pets, 50lb limit each. Pet fee required.
You can park one vehicle in the driveway (or two in tandem), but please leave space for the other unit to park next to it. Park any additional vehicles on the street, but do not block mailboxes.
You have access to the main house area, including the two east yards (wooden fence by the garage to the wooden fence by the primary bedroom sliding glass door). You do not have access to the building and yards behind the black gate by the kitchen. You do not have access to the garage.
Please note that while your space is private, the building is shared with another unit - there may be some noise transfer between walls. Please be respectful and do not disturb the other occupants.
Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am.
No parties or events.
No smoking or vaping tobacco or cannabis indoors. Do not tamper with the smoke detectors. Violating this indoor smoking policy will result in an automatic deep-cleaning and odor-remediation fee of $500 to cover specialized cleaning and air treatment.
Please put excess trash/recycling in the proper bins by the black fence near the street.
If using the sauna, please read the rules posted on the sauna.
There are extra sheets, blankets, and towels in the linen closet. Please use the brown towels for the sauna, makeup, beach, outside, etc. - please do not use the white towels for anything that might stain!
If you have pets, there are some pet supplies in the walk-in closet. If your pet is outside, please make sure at least two gates are closed so they are fenced in.
