Seaturtle Cottage is a two-bedroom lakeside retreat a few minutes from Vanderbilt Beach, with a private patio that faces the water and a neighborhood full of restaurants and shops just around the corner. It sleeps six and keeps things simple, which is exactly the appeal.
The patio is where most of the day happens. The lake sits just past the edge of the grass, still and quiet in the morning, so the first coffee usually ends up outside. By evening, the fire pit table becomes the center of things, with the grill a step away for dinner and plenty of reasons to stay out as the light fades over the water.
Inside, living and dining share one bright, open room, and the full kitchen is set up for real cooking. A dedicated workspace with reliable Wi-Fi makes it easy to stretch a vacation into a work week, and a private entrance keeps your comings and goings your own.
One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other has two double beds, a good fit for kids, teenagers, or two friends happy to share. A single bathroom with a walk-in shower serves the cottage, so it suits a family or two couples best. There's plenty of storage for a place this size, and your dog is welcome too.
Vanderbilt Beach's soft Gulf sand is about five minutes away by car, and Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, just to the north, offers quieter beaches, good shelling, and some of the best sunsets on this coast. Restaurants, shops, and a supermarket are a few blocks from the door, so the first grocery run is a walk. Mercato's dining and shopping are nearby along Vanderbilt Beach Road, and Fifth Avenue South and the Naples Pier are an easy drive south. Golf and pickleball are close by, the Paradise Coast Sports Complex is about 20 minutes away for tournament weekends, and Southwest Florida International Airport is roughly 30 minutes out.
