Alte Kammfabrik – Upper Floor

Stay in a piece of Michelstadt's industrial history: this upper-floor apartment in the Alte Kammfabrik has been carefully renovated to a high standard. A natural stone wall, oak floorboards and natural slate combine the character of the old factory building with modern amenities. It is ideal for families, business travelers and tradespeople spending a few days or longer in the Odenwald.Across roughly 75 m² (about 800 sq ft), you will find a spacious, open-plan living and dining area with a dining table, sofa and smart TV. The separate kitchen, with a cooking island and slate floor, is fully equipped, including an oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of light. The bedroom has two box-spring beds (90 × 200 cm each) that can be used separately or, with a topper, as a 180 × 200 cm double bed, and a sofa bed in the living area provides additional sleeping space. The bathroom with shower is tiled in natural slate and has a washing machine and tumble dryer, which is handy for longer stays. An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are also provided. The view looks out over the grounds of the Kammfabrik on one side and over green spaces on the other.Michelstadt train station is nearby, and a large supermarket is within walking distance. This means you can easily manage without a car.Good to know: the apartment sleeps up to 4 guests. A private parking space is right in front of the building. You reach the apartment via a metal staircase, and inside there are wide doorways and no thresholds. Wi-Fi is available. Self check-in is possible from 4 pm, and check-out is by 11 am. Smoking is permitted outdoors only, and parties and events are not allowed. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
