    I would like to raise a complaint regarding several issues with the facilities and services. There is no proper lawn or play area for children, the kitchen service is unsatisfactory, and there are also ongoing internet connectivity issues.

    I recently stayed (July 19-20) at Shangrilla Hotel in Shangla Gali, and while the location is undeniably stunning, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor management and maintenance. Location: The hotel’s location is truly its biggest asset. Nestled in the scenic beauty of Shangla Gali, it offers breathtaking views, cool mountain air, and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s a great spot for nature lovers and those looking to escape the noise of city life. Management & Maintenance: Unfortunately, the hotel is not living up to the potential of its location. The management appears disorganized and inattentive. The property is poorly maintained, with worn-out furniture, untidy surroundings, and a general lack of upkeep. Rooms are not cleaned thoroughly, and basic amenities are often missing or in poor condition. Staff: The staff seemed disinterested and unmotivated. Requests were often ignored or delayed, and customer service was far below acceptable standards. There was a noticeable lack of training and hospitality culture. You don’t feel like a valued guest, which greatly affects the overall experience. Restaurant & Food: The restaurant was perhaps the most disappointing part of the stay. The food was below average, with very limited options and poor taste. Cleanliness and hygiene were also questionable. The dining area felt neglected, and the service was slow and indifferent. Overall Verdict: While the natural surroundings make this hotel worth visiting, the lack of proper management, lazy staff, and a substandard restaurant experience seriously affect its value. Unless there is a significant improvement in service and maintenance, I would not recommend staying here for anything more than a brief stopover to enjoy the views.
