I rarely give a 10/10 but I cannot fault this lovely house. To start with Lucy, the host is amazing and responds pretty much immediately. The keys are in a lock box so dead easy to collect, and there's room for two cars on the drive. The house itself is an urban house, not a country cottage. That said you are approx 5 mins away from the centre of HIgh Wycombe in one direction, with all your shops, supermakets and restaurants, and 5 mins away from a lovely wooded area in the other direction, which leads on to Tom Burks Hill - a beautiful open grasslands and mature trees overlooking the whole of High Wycombe and beyond. Perfect for dogwalking, bird watching or just fresh air and exercise with amazing views. The house itself is beautifully done. The kitchen is large enough for 4 people to be preparing lunch (!) and is fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The milk and fresh orange provided were a wonder, on top of the tea, coffee and condiments. The lounge / diner could be two separate rooms - the table is ample large enough for 6 and doesn't impinge on the lounge area which is a comfortable size for 6. The TV was easy to use and everything works, including the Wifi! There is even a bluetooth speaker provided (with a charger!!) which was a treat....music without the TV on! AND there's a downstairs loo, just as beautiful as the bathroom upstairs and squeaky clean! The cubbyhole under the stairs provides space for muddy shoes, dog bowls and bags and the coat stand is well situated. The three bedrooms are all large, the beds comfy, the linen fresh, the carpet luxurious and the bathroom well equipped, spacious and again, ALL spotlessly clean! Oh, and the neighbours also were friendly.... I can't gush enough about this house....I will be returning.
