Santa Maria Haven – A Private Tiny Home Coastal Cabin Retreat
Tucked away privately behind the main residence, Santa Maria Haven offers a peaceful, self-contained cabin retreat perfect for couples, solo travellers, or small families exploring Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula.
Designed for low-stress, transit-friendly stays, this coastal space combines privacy with easy access to Geelong’s waterfront, local dining, and regional transport.
Main Bedroom: Features a comfortable Queen-size bed (sleeps 2) with climate control heating & fan, and bedside lamp.
Second Bedroom / Flexible Space: Optional: A smaller room suitable for an extra guest (when booking for more than 2 people), or used as a quiet office or children's playroom.
Additional Bedding ($25/person/night): Optional: To accommodate up to 4 guests total, a 3rd guest bed can be prepared in the flexible second room, and a 4th single bed can be set up in the living area (a cosy fit, available on request). Each extra bed includes all fresh linen, bath towels, blankets, pillows, and quilt.
Infant Accommodation ($12/night): Optional: A baby cot & high chair can be provided upon request, complete with pillow, linen, blankets, and quilt.
Elevated Decking: Step outside onto a private timber deck — ideal for enjoying morning coffee or evening relaxation. (Note: Access involves 2 high steps up to the deck).
Kitchenette & Dining: Equipped for light meals with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, and crockery, flat-screen TV, and a cozy seating area.
Bathroom: Private full bathroom (located within the cabin) equipped with a shower, vanity, and toilet. Fresh towels and essential toiletries are provided.
Access & Parking
Private Entry: A dedicated side pathway leads past the main residence straight and around to your secluded cabin at the rear.
Self Check-In: Easy entry via a secure key safe located at the side of the property. Your private entry code is provided prior to arrival.
Parking: On-street parking is available directly outside the property.
Location & Connectivity
Transit & Travel: Minutes from the Geelong waterfront, Corio Quay (Spirit of Tasmania terminal), Avalon Airport, and local train stations.
Dining & Leisure: Short drive or transit ride to Eastern Beach eateries (Edge, Sailors' Rest), Geelong Botanical Gardens, and the Bellarine Peninsula wine region.
Important Guest Notes & House Rules: Designed for 2 people, Max Capacity: Strictly up to 4 guests total (including children) extra beds & cot & high chair optional.
Pets: Strictly no pets allowed.
Smoking Policy: Strictly non-smoking and non-vaping indoors and on the premises.
Shared Site Layout: The cabin is private, but shares the side entry path with the main house. The cleaner's room/shed opposite the Haven is used strictly for maintenance access between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM on changeover days.
Child Safety: Due to the elevated timber deck and entry steps, young children must be supervised at all times.
