About this house rental
The main village square is just a few meters away, and the surrounding area is wonderful for hiking and cycling. The historic center of Granada is only a 25-minute drive away, and the Sierra Nevada ski resort is about 40 minutes away.
Casa de la Cuesta is a traditional village house built on four levels. It features a kitchen, a living room with a dining area, and two large bedrooms with en suite shower rooms.
On the top floor, you’ll find another cozy living room and the rooftop terrace, both offering amazing views over the village rooftops to the Sierra Nevada mountains in the distance. Just off the roof terrace is a second small kitchen—perfect for preparing breakfast, light snacks, and sunset drinks.
The house is ideal for four guests, though a fifth guest can be accommodated on a fold-out bed. The second bedroom has two single beds, but if you prefer, they can be pushed together to form a super king-size bed—just let us know.
When the house is booked for only two guests, only one bedroom will be prepared. Please let us know which bedroom you’d like.
Both living rooms and both bedrooms have air conditioning (cooling/heating), and there’s Wi-Fi throughout the property.
The main kitchen on the first floor is fully equipped with an oven, induction cooktop, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster.
In addition to housing the washing machine, the small kitchen off the roof terrace has a microwave, kettle, toaster, and a fridge to keep your beers cold.
The village square, with several lovely tapas bars, is just a few meters from the house. Here you’ll also find a churros stand. Enjoy your churros with hot chocolate in the square or get them to go and enjoy them on your private roof terrace.
A well-stocked grocery store and a fountain with fresh drinking water are right on your doorstep, and there’s a small Coviran supermarket a couple of minutes’ walk down the hill. There’s also a bakery and pharmacy just a few meters away, plus a fantastic takeout spot offering kebabs, pizzas, and delicious homemade cakes (including gluten-free options).
The local area is a hiker’s paradise. Even if you don’t have time for a longer hike, you can take a short walk along the old tram route beside the Genil River to Maitena, where you can stop for lunch or a drink—and in the summer, take a dip in the river.
The village has plenty of free parking. Granada is only 25 minutes away by car (or 40 minutes by bus, with several departures daily). The coast is about an hour’s drive away.
