On the other side of the historic port town, right on the Markermeer, the Waterfront Chalet BlueHorizon No. 53 awaits you as a very special retreat: front-row waterfront location, space for up to six people and two dogs—and a view you’ll never want to look away from.
The moment you step inside the chalet, it becomes clear what makes this place so special. Through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, the living area opens up to the Markermeer, making the water part of the vacation experience. Whether it’s your first cup of coffee in the morning, breakfast together, or a glass of wine on the sofa in the evening: the view across the Markermeer accompanies you throughout the day.

Living with a front-row seat on the Markermeer
With approximately 66 m² of living space, this detached chalet offers plenty of room for families, friends, or a relaxing vacation for two with a little extra space.
The bright living area combines cozy living, dining, and cooking. The open kitchen is fully equipped and includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The dining table provides space for shared meals, game nights, or planning your next vacation.
And as the sun slowly sets over the Markermeer, the sofa quickly becomes your favorite spot—with a view of the water, of course.

Three bedrooms—space for up to six people
The chalet has three separate bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to six guests. All beds have an open footboard.
A modern bathroom with a walk-in shower and an additional separate toilet ensure that mornings remain relaxed, even with several people.
High-speed Wi-Fi starting at 100 Mbit/s and a TV with international channels are also included.

The real highlight awaits outside
As beautiful as the chalet itself is: its greatest luxury is its location.
From the garden and the terrace, you can enjoy a fantastic, unobstructed view of the Markermeer. Water, sky, and passing boats define the view here—instead of rows of houses or streets.
And then there’s one more feature that makes this sunny spot truly special:
Right on the shore, your own private terrace awaits you, with seating right by the water.
Enjoy a morning coffee, put your feet up in the afternoon, or wind down the day with a view of the Markermeer—you can’t get much closer to the water without getting in a boat.
The chalet sits on a lot of approximately 325 m² and, in addition to various outdoor seating areas, offers a private parking space right next to the house. A charging station is available for electric cars.

Your four-legged family members are also welcome to join you at the Markermeer: Up to two dogs are warmly welcome.
The waterfront location and the area around Enkhuizen offer wonderful opportunities for long walks and exploration together.

The location combines two things we love: a vacation right on the water and close proximity to Enkhuizen.
The historic port town, with its narrow streets, restaurants, outdoor cafes, and shops, is only about 1.2 kilometers away and is perfect for exploring on foot or by bike.
Around the chalet, water sports and life on the Markermeer take center stage. Sailing, canoeing, kayaking, and windsurfing are all on the menu, as are biking and long walks along the water. Shops and restaurants are just about 500 meters away.
