Welcome to The Hideaway, a cozy two-bedroom cabin tucked among the evergreens at Lake Cushman. As the days turn crisp, it’s the perfect place to slow down, explore the Olympic Peninsula, and enjoy a peaceful PNW getaway. Spend the day hiking nearby trails, exploring the Staircase area of Olympic National Park, or taking in the quiet beauty of Lake Cushman. Then head back to the cabin, light the wood-burning stove, make dinner, and settle in for a cozy evening of games, movies, or a good book.
THE SPACE
The cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and works especially well for families, two couples, or a small group of friends.
Bedroom 1: Queen bed + twin bunk bed
Bedroom 2: Queen bed + twin trundle with two twin mattresses
The main living area is designed for spending time together, with comfortable seating, games and movies, a dining area, and the wood stove that makes cool fall evenings especially cozy. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials for cooking at home. Step outside onto the large, fully gated deck surrounded by evergreens—a peaceful spot for a hot cup of coffee on a crisp morning or unwinding after a day of exploring. Need to stay connected? The Hideaway has fiber-optic internet and a dedicated workspace, making it easy to sneak in a little remote work between adventures.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have private access to the entire cabin, large gated deck, driveway/parking area and outdoor areas surrounding the cabin. Your stay also includes a guest pass for designated Lake Cushman community parks. A few spaces are reserved for owner use and remain locked during your stay, including the garage, storage shed, owner’s storage closet and utility/water-heater area
EXPLORE THE AREA
The Hideaway makes a great home base for exploring Lake Cushman, Hoodsport, Hood Canal and Olympic National Park. Spend your days hiking, wandering through the forest, taking scenic drives, or simply enjoying the slower pace of the lake community. Lake Cushman is still just a short walk away. The cabin is not waterfront, but a family-friendly community park is approximately a 7-minute walk from the cabin, and your stay includes a guest park pass

Fall and winter storms can bring power outages, snow, ice, and difficult road conditions. Guests should be prepared for changing weather and the possibility of delayed arrival or departure. Weather and utility disruptions outside our control do not qualify for host-issued refunds beyond those required by the booking platform’s policies. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
