About this cottage rental
Escape the daily grind at this unique and relaxing retreat.
Our place in the world is in the heart of the Albufera de Valencia Natural Park. It is a fully renovated space, connected to our rice farm. Depending on the time of year, the landscape changes completely—from the deep brown of the earth in April, through the green and yellow of the rice plants in their various stages of growth, to the blue-green of the lake’s water in the winter months.
The Space
The house is a two-story home. The first floor features a living-dining-kitchen area, fully equipped for your comfort. The living room has two sofas, each 1.60 meters long, a TV, and a pellet fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a 3-burner gas stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster, a juicer, a blender, and all other necessary kitchen appliances. The first floor also includes a bathroom with a spacious shower, a staircase leading upstairs, and a laundry room with a washing machine, clothesline, iron, and ironing board. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms. One of them opens onto the double-height living room and features a 150x190 bed. The other has a 75x190 bunk bed. Both bedrooms have sloped ceilings and are equipped with closets.
Amenities and Common Areas
Our house features a paved patio with an outdoor dining area and a barbecue. It has everything you need to try your hand at cooking a traditional Valencian paella.
This building is part of our farm, which generates its own electricity and has its own wastewater treatment plant. Given its location within this natural area, guests are expected to have a special appreciation for and respect toward nature and biodiversity.
Likewise, upon request, we can accompany you to see other parts of the farm, such as barns, water pumps, and cultivated fields, and introduce you to our agricultural and environmental work.
