The Maya Collection - District 1- Near Ben Thanh Market

Well suited to my needs which was somewhere that is central, clean, quiet, comfortable, with a good bed and more space than a studio. A bonus was the nearby supermarket that offers clean, fresh food and groceries. Also nearby was a small but fresh bakery and there is a good Vietnamese coffee cafe at ground level, though such cafes are plentiful in Saigon. The unit is similar to an AirBnB in that you call and arrange to meet in the foyer, are given a lift pass and then taken to the unit and given the door code. Do not expect a reception desk that can help you with bookings etc. In summary, it was the perfect base for a solo travelling 60 year guy who just wanted the clean basics in a good location.

Although advertised, my unit did not include a microwave. There is a washing machine / dryer but no instructions on how to use it and the fan in the unit wasnt working though the air conditioning was. If desperate, I could have researched how to use the washing machine but I could get by without doing another translation exercise.

Amazing stay in a modern 2BR apartment right in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Perfect location near Ben Thanh Market and Nguyen Hue Walking Street — clean, cozy, and very convenient!
