The historic centre of Split is within easy reach and is well worth exploring for Diocletian’s Palace, the lively Riva and the narrow streets of the old town. In the other direction, Omiš lies beside the mouth of the Cetina River and offers a historic old town as well as rafting, canyoning and zip-line adventures in the surrounding landscape.
