About this house rental
Inside, high beamed ceilings and tall glass keep the valley in frame from nearly every room. The living room has a gas fireplace and the kind of deep seating that ends a day of tasting rooms properly. The kitchen — open, cement-countered, genuinely set up for cooking — flows into the dining room, and both open directly onto the deck, so dinner tends to migrate outside to absorb the gorgeous view.
The principal bedroom has its own fireplace, a sitting area, and a stone-tiled bath. The guest room upstairs has a window seat, a sitting area, and a full bath of its own. Downstairs, a second guest room comes with a private entrance and its own view, alongside a bonus room outfitted as a full gym and plenty of storage. The loft office has a sleeper couch, a full bath, and a balcony over the vineyards — a good place to work, and an easy place for one more person or kids to sleep.
Outside is where the house earns its name. A solar-heated pool, a pergola for the hottest part of the afternoon, a gas fire pit for after sunset, a Finlandia sauna, and a hot tub. Garden paths wind through the landscaping for a slow morning walk, the deck handles long al fresco dinners, and there's a ping pong table for when the group gets competitive.
2,543 square feet, detached garage, guest parking, and complete privacy behind the gate — minutes from Sonoma Plaza, the wineries, and the restaurants that fill up on weekends.
