About this house rental
Sometimes a family vacation needs one thing above all: space and room to breathe. On one of Nordstrand's green hills rises the thatched Frisian farmhouse. This is home to Die Warft, a typical North Frisian vacation apartment that you'll love! Up to four guests, young and old, plus a dog, can stay in Die Warft.
This 110 sq m gem welcomes you with a charming country-style kitchen and dining area. Self-caterers will find everything they need in Die Warft, including a dishwasher, ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, kettle, and more. The kitchen opens onto the living room, where a large TV and a comfortable armchair await you.
Plenty of privacy can be found on the two upper floors: One bedroom has a double bed and a chest of drawers, the second a slightly elevated single bed and a wardrobe. Another single bed at a comfortable height is located in the cozy gallery under the roof. Psst: All the windows offer views of the expansive countryside, and thoughtful details exude that North Frisian hygge feeling.
After a long walk along the dike, slip into a hot shower and enjoy warm feet thanks to the underfloor heating in the bathroom. And when the wind is whipping outside, heat up the sauna in the shared wellness and relaxation area (for a small fee of €10).
Babies and toddlers are very welcome at Friesenhof; however, due to its open spiral staircase, Die Warft is more suitable for families with older children who are already steady on their feet. We are happy to provide a cot and a highchair for you.
Good to know: You can surf the internet with DSL, and you will find a washing machine and dryer in the utility room.
Far, farther, Warft – that pretty much sums up the outdoor area. Friesenhof is not only located in a quiet, secluded spot, surrounded by fields and meadows, but also on a 4,000 sq m property. The location is perfect for cycling tours, which is why there is a shed for your bicycle next to the parking space. Our favorite spot is tucked away in the communal garden under tall trees: a seating area with a beach chair, perfect for relaxing. Or you can take a seat right in front of your house on the sunny terrace. Speaking of which, there's plenty of space on the terp – for playing and doing cartwheels, riding Bobby Cars and balance bikes, or simply for being happy.
