The Space:
Foxtail Getaway is a charming 3-bedroom, 1.75-bath cabin in the heart of Shaver Lake’s West Village, offering the perfect mix of classic mountain character, thoughtful updates, and an incredibly convenient location.
Step inside to a warm and inviting living space centered around a beautiful brick fireplace with a teak mantle. Milled wood walls, and unique woodland details give the cabin its one-of-a-kind Shaver Lake charm, while updated flooring, remodeled bathrooms, and an updated kitchen add modern comfort.
The kitchen offers generous counter space and plenty of storage for preparing meals together. The light-filled primary bedroom features its own separate entrance and private patio—a peaceful spot to step outside and enjoy the mountain air.
Upstairs, you’ll find additional sleeping space, a private bedroom, a ¾ bathroom with a shower, and a built-in desk that’s great for remote work or catching up while away.
Outside, the spacious Trex deck is tucked beneath the trees and made for relaxing after a day at the lake. The large, level lot also offers plenty of paved parking.
And one of the best parts? The location! Foxtail Getaway is right in West Village, within easy walking distance of Shaver Lake’s local shops and restaurants. You can enjoy the convenience of being close to everything while still coming home to your own cozy cabin beneath the pines.
Guest Access:
Guests will have private access to the cabin, spacious Trex deck, private patio, and paved parking area during their stay.
Foxtail Getaway is located in the heart of West Village, making it easy to leave the car behind and walk to nearby shops and restaurants.
Please note that the storage sheds on the property are reserved for owner use and are not accessible to guests.

You’ll be within walking distance of local restaurants, shops, coffee, and other Village favorites, while still enjoying the peaceful mountain setting and towering pines Shaver Lake is known for.
Shaver Lake is just a short drive away, with hiking, boating, fishing, and year-round mountain adventures all within easy reach.
In the winter, head up the mountain for skiing and snow play, then come back to West Village for dinner and a cozy evening by the fire. It’s a great home base for experiencing Shaver Lake in every season.

One of the best things about Foxtail Getaway is its convenient West Village location! Guests can easily walk to nearby restaurants, shops, and other Village favorites, while a car is recommended for exploring Shaver Lake and the surrounding mountain areas.
The cabin offers plenty of paved, off-street parking on a large, level lot, making arrival and unloading easy.
During the winter months, snow and icy road conditions are common. We strongly recommend AWD or 4WD, and chains may be required depending on current conditions. Always check road and weather conditions before traveling to the mountains.
Other Things to Note:
Foxtail Getaway is a mountain cabin, and part of the Shaver Lake experience is being surrounded by nature. You may encounter wildlife, pine needles, seasonal insects, snow, and changing mountain conditions during your stay. We do not provide propane fills for BBQ, etc. We do have a propane tank you're more than welcome to fill at Shaver Lake hardware.
Please plan accordingly during the winter months. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended, and chains may be required during storms or icy conditions. Weather can change quickly in the mountains, so we recommend checking road conditions before traveling.
