- Do not move furniture or remove items from the property
- Follow all check-in and check-out instructions provided prior to arrival

Guests will have access to the entire property except: the detached garage, a few locked supply and personal owners’ closets, curio cabinet and attached garages.

- Septic System: This property is on a private septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper — no wipes, paper towels, or feminine products, or any “flushable” products. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the septic system healthy!

- Kitchen Sink Drain/Garbage Disposal/Septic System: Since this property is on a private septic system, please do not put any excess items down the kitchen sink’s garbage disposal. Only limited food scraps can be put down the garbage disposal. Peelings, food scraps, coffee grounds, egg shells, oil, etc. should all go into the trash. Thank you for your assistance to make your stay comfortable and hassle free and to protect the septic system.

- Water Conservation: We kindly ask guests to be mindful of water usage throughout their stay since the house is on a well. Simple habits like shorter showers and turning off taps when not in use go a long way on a rural island property which uses a well for its water supply.

- Cell Service: Cell service on Marrowstone Island can be limited depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home and we recommend using Wi-Fi calling if needed.

- Rural and Seasonal Setting: This is truly a Pacific Northwest nature escape! Guests should expect to encounter local wildlife, insects, and the occasional critter that comes with a home in a wooded bluff setting. We ask that all doors and windows be kept closed when not in use, which includes the porch/balcony sliding door.

- Bluff: The property features a natural bluff overlooking the water. Please supervise children and exercise caution near the bluff edge at all times. There is a hedge all along the property. Guests should not proceed through the hedge to the bluff’s edge.

- Porch/Balcony: The property features a covered porch overlooking the Puget Sound. Children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times when children are on the porch.
