This charming cottage in picturesque Snettisham is perfect for families and friends seeking a relaxing holiday with easy access to local amenities and North Norfolk’s countryside and coastal attractions. The village has a welcoming, traditional feel with local shops and eateries and a wild shingle beach to walk along or enjoy water sports. Keen walkers can enjoy tackling a section of the Peddars Way or the North Norfolk Coast Path. Snettisham Park Farm is a mile away, providing fun-filled adventures for the whole family. Nature enthusiasts can enjoy birdwatching at the nearby nature reserves of RSPB Snettisham (2 miles) and Titchwell (10 miles). Discover Wild Ken Hill in nearby Snettisham, a stunning nature reserve where woodland, heathland and coastal landscapes combine to offer unforgettable walks, wildlife watching and beautiful Norfolk scenery. The Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton is only 5 miles away and well worth a visit. For miles of unspoilt golden sand, Brancaster is a must-visit attraction just 10.5 miles away. Otherwise, spend the day exploring the grounds of the Royal Sandringham Estate (4 miles).
This delightful property, set over two levels, has a datestone of 1687 and is brimming with period character, including whitewashed walls and ceiling beams. These original features and the country style blend seamlessly with contemporary comfort to ensure an unforgettable stay. Throughout, you will find elegant decor and furnishings, perfect for creating relaxed social spaces for you and your guests. Enter the open-plan living area, featuring a lounge with a wood burner and a Smart TV at one end, and a snug at the other. The main lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating, including a sumptuous corner sofa, to unwind at the end of a day of discovery and is the centrepiece for cosy evenings watching a favourite box set on the Smart TV. In cooler months, enjoy popping a log in the wood burner for some crackle and pop. The snug provides a quieter space for reading and catching up over a drink. Continue through to the dining room, which features a striking ornamental stove – it makes a splendid setting for more formal or celebratory dinners. At the rear of the property, you’ll find the kitchen with a dining/breakfast area at one end. The kitchen has all the appliances you need to make meal preparation a breeze. At the opposite end of the kitchen, walk through a handy utility area to access the downstairs shower room. Finally, you reach a lovely sunroom with comfortable seating, ensuring there are lots of social spaces for everyone to find their favourite corner to relax. A door from the sunroom leads out to the courtyard garden. Head upstairs and you’ll find three generously-sized bedrooms, all with ample storage: two attractive super-king-size bedrooms and a lovely twin bedroom.
