This contemporary penthouse apartment overlooks Porth Beach on the North Cornwall coastline, just 40 metres from the sand. With rock pools, caves and streams along the shore, the apartment makes an active coastal base for couples and small families. Porth Beach is a wide sweep of sand sheltered by two headlands, with ample space for sandcastle building and paddling in the shallows. A narrow wooden footbridge leads across to Porth Island (0.5 miles), a headland rich in history where a dramatic blowhole sends rainbow sprays of water skyward at mid-tide. The headland provides a striking vantage point throughout the year. Lusty Glaze Beach (0.5 miles) lies along the coast path to the south, while Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth (both within 4 miles) sit to the north.
Light fills the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space, where sliding doors open onto the private balcony and frame coastal views across the beach and sea. The sitting area has a comfortable sofa and armchair, alongside a Smart TV. A modern kitchen opens into the dining area, where a table and four chairs face the outlook. The master bedroom has a double bed, a TV for lazy mornings, and an en-suite shower room. A second bedroom is set up as a twin, with two single beds and ample storage space.
