About this cottage rental
This magnificent house sleeps 28 guests and welcomes up to four dogs, making it ideal for big family get-togethers, large gatherings, and special occasions. Perched in a beautiful spot with sweeping valley views, you’ll be less than 3 miles from the world-famous Gleneagles, where championship golf courses, fine dining, and indulgent spa days await. Auchterarder (3 miles), fondly known as the “Lang Toun” for its unusually long main street, is a lively Perthshire town brimming with independent shops, cosy cafes, and traditional pubs for you to discover. If you’re in the mood for a day trip, head to Perth (16 miles) or Stirling (21 miles) to explore highlights like Scone Palace, Perth Races, Stirling Castle, and the Bannockburn Visitor Centre. The family-friendly Blair Drummond Safari Park (21.5 miles) is another fantastic option for families.
Step inside this wonderful house where, on the ground floor, you’ll find a grand dining room and an elegant drawing room with an open fire for cosy afternoons. There’s a bright open-plan living area featuring a lounge with a Smart TV, sound bar and Sky Q, plus a sociable dining space and a well-equipped kitchen with direct access to the courtyard garden – all equipped with integrated Bluetooth speakers. For fun evenings in, the games room features a pool table, table football, a fruit machine, a Smart TV, Sky Q, and a sound bar, while a quirky turret room houses its own hot tub where you can enjoy an indulgent soak before bed. This level also includes a shower room with WC and a utility room with access to the outside. Upstairs, the first floor has seven beautiful bedrooms: a super-king-size master with a luxurious en-suite including a free-standing bath, large shower, and his-and-hers sinks; three twin rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms; a double with a sleigh bed and en-suite; a four-poster double with a Jack and Jill en-suite shared with a bunk room (two bunk beds, sleeping four). On the second floor, there’s a twin and a quadruple bedroom with four singles, plus a family bathroom. The adjoining annexe provides even more space, with a lounge/kitchen/diner and two upstairs bedrooms – a super-king and a family room with a double with two singles – plus a family bathroom.
Outside, enjoy a fully enclosed courtyard with a covered heated pool (May to September, with winter heating available on request), a private hot tub, a gas BBQ, outdoor dining space, and large gardens to explore. Children will love letting off steam in the play area, complete with a trampoline, slide and swing. Private parking for twenty cars and two electric car charging points complete the setup.
