Set in a tranquil spot in the scenic Ribble Valley in Lancashire, this charming stone-built cottage welcomes a family of four or a group of friends seeking a quiet escape in the countryside. Enjoy peace at this home, set in the small hamlet of Harrop Fold, with the market town of Clitheroe just 7 miles away. The property is located in the remarkable Forest of Bowland National Landscape, which features sweeping moorlands, habitat-rich woodlands, and many walking routes suitable for all abilities. 8 miles away is the spectacular Trough of Bowland, a scenic mountain pass that links Dunsop Bridge to Lancaster and Morecombe. History lovers can enjoy a visit to Skipton Castle (20 miles), which has several family-friendly events throughout the year. Take a trip on the Settle-Carlisle Railway, which winds through breathtaking landscapes and sets off 13 miles from here.
Park up in the private parking space and step into this beautiful home through the spacious hallway. From here, to one side, the characterful kitchen/diner has plenty of surface and storage space, with everything you need to cook up meals for all occasions. Once you have eaten, head through to the welcoming lounge which is set beneath a beamed ceiling and contains a wood burner set in a feature stone fireplace. Warm up and watch movies curled up on the comfortable sofas. Upstairs, the two double bedrooms wait for a restful night’s sleep. Both have beamed ceilings and look out over the lovely surrounds. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the property’s interior.
The pretty garden has a lawn space for playing games, and a patio area contains seating where you can enjoy al fresco meals while soaking up the beautiful views.
