About this cottage rental
This stone cottage features a traditional exterior and characterful original touches throughout yet has been thoroughly modernised to create an exceptionally modern place to stay. Leave muddy boots in the boot room on entry and make your way through to the kitchen/diner. New cabinets, fixtures and fittings ensure you’ve got all you need to feed your party, enjoying well-deserved dinners after days on the fells. Through to the lovely lounge, remarkable views are framed by windows throughout, while a wood burner and Smart TV set the scene for lovely evenings indoors. Take the stairs up to the property’s two bedrooms: a king-size and a single. There’s a final shower room completing this floor, designed with modern appliances. You’ll need to head outside and venture up external stone steps to reach the final double bedroom. This annexed space sits beneath charming, sloped ceilings, complete with a well-dressed double bed, an additional Smart TV and en-suite facilities. There are tea- and coffee-making facilities in this space, inviting you to sit in bed and wake up for the day ahead before joining the rest of the group. Or you can enjoy coffee on the private patio area to the rear of the annex.
This property’s garden elevates the stay even further, designed with multiple seating areas, impressive scenery and gated access to the river. The main section of the garden is enclosed, furnished with rattan seating, benches and a BBQ for alfresco dining. There’s an outhouse offering secure bike storage, and private parking is available in abundance.
