You’ve got footpaths and walking trails snaking off in every direction from its sprawling garden, including down to Arncliffe (2.5 miles), a neighbouring village. Mountain walkers will know Pen-y-ghent, just 8.5 miles away, and those looking for long-distance walking trails will be pleased to find that the Pennine Way passes nearby (6.5 miles). Visit the towns of Settle (12 miles), Skipton (17.5 miles) and Ilkley (24.5 miles) throughout your stay, each boasting its own lively character, with an abundance of independently owned shops, markets and historic tourist attractions.
This stone cottage features a traditional exterior and characterful original touches throughout yet has been thoroughly modernised to create an exceptionally modern place to stay. Leave muddy boots in the boot room on entry and make your way through to the kitchen/diner. New cabinets, fixtures and fittings ensure you’ve got all you need to feed your party, enjoying well-deserved dinners after days on the fells.
