Enjoy a relaxing stay in this elegantly renovated 80 m² kelo-log apartment in the popular Mikonranta area, right by Lake Kesäjärvi in Länsi-Ruka (West Ruka). Built in 1989 and renovated in 2016, the home combines authentic silver-grey log character with a modern interior and comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests. It offers a private electric sauna, a fireplace and a brand-new open-plan kitchen, with the Ruka ski slopes 3 km away and Kuusamo Golf 22 km away.
The layout is distributed across the ground floor and a loft.
Living room & Kitchen: The ground floor offers a spacious living room and a brand-new, modern open-plan kitchen. The living area has a television with a DVD player and a fireplace, with firewood included from the property`s own wood storage, and Wi-Fi is available throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster and microwave. The dining table seats 8 guests and tableware is provided for 12.
Bedrooms & Loft: Downstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The loft has smaller sleeping alcoves with beds for up to 5 people. Please note that the stairs leading to the loft are quite steep and access to the sleeping nooks is tight, so the loft is best suited for children and youth. A baby cot is available.
Bathroom & Sauna: The stylishly updated washroom includes a shower, a washing machine, a drying cabinet for outdoor clothing and a hair dryer. There are two indoor toilets, and your own private electric sauna is directly connected to the washroom.
Outdoor area: Free parking is available on site with two car heating plugs, and there is a wood storage with firewood included.
Please note that final cleaning and bed linens are not included in the rental price, but can be purchased separately from the host.
