House in Colorado Springs, CO

About this house rental
Most houses this size give you one big room and everyone ends up in it. This one is built the other way. Two living areas, a game room, two dining tables and a deck with a hot tub mean your group can be in four different places at once and still eat together at seven.
That is the thing guests keep writing about. One family last June: "plenty of room for each family to have their own space but also enough room for us to gather."

The house sits well back from the road on just under half an acre, up a driveway screened by mature blue spruce and pine. Guests mention it right after the space: "From inside the home you couldn't tell you were in a city."
A FEW HONEST NOTES
There is no central air. Four portable units cool the three upstairs bedrooms and the living room; the other three bedrooms have ceiling fans. An August guest who arrived worried about exactly this wrote that the room units and fans worked out great, but you should know before you book.
The home is multi-level with interior stairs to the upper bedrooms and the lower level. If anyone in your group needs step-free living, this is not the right house.
Houses sit close downhill and backyard sound carries. Quiet hours run 10 PM to 8 AM and we mean them. No parties or events.
Three cameras, all outside (front, driveway, backyard). None indoors. The backyard camera currently faces toward the hot tub area from across the yard and is being repositioned before reopening.
