The Space:

The magnificent Claybrook homestead consists of 3 buildings on one plot situated directly above Glen Beach in Camps Bay with expansive sea views and a short walk down to the beach. Totalling 4 bedrooms, 5 and ½ bathrooms and sleeping 8 people.

The main house booms original wooden floors and marble surfaces throughout, with elegant and classic, antique and original décor to match. The recently added adjoining pavilion is a modern, stylish building situated on the large lap pool's edge. Claybrook consists of the following 3 buildings:



PAVILION is a magnificent newly built villa with large open living areas, Full bathroom downstairs, kitchenette. One open plan bedroom upstairs with en-suite bathroom, large patio, long pool and amazing sea views overlooking the surfers on Glen Beach.



MAIN HOUSE is the original building now declared a national heritage site. Consisting of a large living area, large kitchen, upstairs 2 bedrooms both with large en-suite bathrooms and patios overlooking the beach.



GRANNY FLAT is behind the house next to the garage and consists of a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. Stunning sea views from the bedroom.

Guest Access:

The entire homestead, all 3 buildings, nobody else will be there except the cleaning staff and night security guard (outside in the security hut).



The Neighborhood:

Camps Bay is the darling of the jet-set crowd, but the property has the feel of a private retreat, tucked away yet within walking distance of the main Camps Bay beach and strip where all the world class restaurants and bars are situated.



Also walking distance are all 3 famous beaches of Clifton where the beaches are almost always protected from the wind and yachts are found moored in the alcoves.



Less than a 10 minute drive are both the Table mountain cable car station and the entrance to Lions head.



The famous V&A Waterfront area with its vast selection of art galleries, shops, entertainment and restaurants are a mere 20-25 minute drive away. Here you will also find the ferry to Robben island and no visit to the V&A is complete without a moment in the MOCAA Art gallery, famous for being hosted inside and old grain silo.

The city centre, Long and Loop street, the Kompanie Gardens and Green market square is 15 minute drive away.



Getting Around:

Über is the best. I can also recommend a car with driver for further excursions.

We would love to host you, but before securing your booking with us, please ensure that all the guests (over the age of 18 years) staying with you at the villa have read and agreed to sign our Conduct Agreement prior to arrival. We do not allow any parties at our property and are very strict regarding this clause.
