The rest of the 2,200 square foot house offers plenty of space to gather with friends while also providing options for a little privacy or just curl up with a good book. The kitchen comes fully equipped for cooking up anything your talents can prepare or just enjoy a fresh coffee using either a Keurig machine or old-fashioned French press. There are even a variety of coffee pods, tea bags, creamer and sweeteners to get you started.\ The backyard features a small, cozy (unheated) pool and waterfall in spring/summer/fall, plus a covered patio with comfortable seating and an outdoor ceiling fan, as well as poolside dining. This is truly an oasis within the thriving city of Marion which boasts the new Thrillhouse as part of the recently renovated Oasis Mall and giant sports complex next door. The surrounding countryside includes a nationally recognized wine trail (15 local wineries) and lots of hiking or boating opportunities in Shawnee National Forest. Not wanting to eat in during your stay, Marion alone offers a huge selection of national chain restaurants as well as some surprising, locally owned and operated dining options. For those looking for live entertainment check out the Marion Cultural and Civic Center auditorium with concerts by top-rated acts or enjoy local artists at the smaller Little Nashville stage on weekends.
