Quick access to ski slopes (Sugarbush/Mad River Glen), mountain biking trails, and swimming or paddling at Blueberry Lake make our cozy getaway the perfect spot to explore the Mad River Valley or just kick up your feet and take in the views. "The Bunny Slope" has been lovingly renovated to include a farmhouse-style kitchen, cozy living spaces with incredible views of the Green Mountains, and bedrooms that sleep eight. Take the fun outside and relax on the porch while grilling or make s'mores around the fire pit!

The first thing you'll notice when you walk into "The Bunny Slope" is two stories of windows facing the Northfield Mountains. With a comfortable and cozy first floor living space, our home is great for just a couple, groups of friends, or a pair of families looking to get away or "work from home" for a week.
The updated, open design kitchen includes a gas range with oven, updated appliances (dishwasher, spacious refrigerator, microwave, beverage fridge), farmhouse sink, and an island with barstools. We love to cook and we are certain that you will love this kitchen. The dining space includes a table for eight with abundant windows that face the backyard mountain views.
The first floor has two bedrooms (a primary bedroom with a queen bed/private bath and another room with twin beds and a small desk). The first floor also has a second full bath that has been newly renovated! The second floor loft area has been converted into two large and charming bedrooms with queen beds (one with a desk area). Guests should know that these rooms have some openings at the ceiling to the living room for heat circulation. One bedroom has a curtain for privacy, but no door.
Take in the fresh air life out on the patio with space for dining or just hanging out! The backyard boasts a fire pit for campfires and stargazing.
We are dog friendly, but we do charge a fee for dogs, which is automatically added to your reservation when you include a pet in your booking. Documented service animals may stay without an additional fee.
Guests have full access to the entire house and outdoor spaces, except for two locked owner's closets in the primary bedroom.
Wifi access is strong and allows for a great work from home situation. We are both teachers and have hosted video classes here! There are several places to “work from home” including desks in two of the bedrooms and comfortable table space in the dining area and kitchen island with easy access to outlets (and the coffee maker).
There is a landline phone available for local calls. We also recommend turning on the “wifi calling” setting on your phone since cellular service can be unpredictable and limited.
HEPA Air Purifier on-site for guest use.
