Cozy one-bedroom tiny home in Palm Beach Estates, in Playa Grande, just one block, a 5-minute walk, from the beach (250 meters from beach access, you can hear the waves). It has one bedroom with a queen-size bed, a closet, storage space, Lennox air conditioner with remote, a safe, and a 32" smart TV with ROKUand an HDMI cable to connect a laptop or other devices. A kitchen that includes a large sink with spray faucet, two-burner electric ceramic-top stove, two-door refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric kettle as well as essential kitchen utensils such as plates, silverware, glasses, etc. The bathroom is spacious and well ventilated with a large window and a vent. The shower, the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink all have hot water. It has a dining/lounge area outside under the roof, with a ceiling fan and a nice view of the yard, where a hammock is set up. It also has a parking space, an outside shower, and a washing machine available to long term guests. Palm Beach Estates is a safe and quiet residential neighborhood with 24-hour private security, where you will not see shady characters walking around or be bothered by vendors. There are three restaurants, two surf shops and a convenience store in the neighborhood, all a short walk away. In the town of Playa Grande, which is about one mile north, there are several restaurants, a convenience store, a bakery, a vegetable and fruit market, a supermarket, two pharmacies, a clinic, an indoor skatepark, a gym, a Jiu Jitsu Dojo and a few boutique hotels. You can go to Tamarindo during the day by walking to the southern end of the beach (a 15-minute walk) and then crossing the estuary with a watertaxi that charges $2 and work until 5pm. Palm Beach Estates is a great home base for those who want to travel around Guanacaste. Beautiful beaches such as Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Catalinas, Ventanas, Tamarindo, Avellanas, Junquillal and Negra among others, are a short drive away. Diamante Ecopark, with its world-class ziplines, is just 45 minutes away. Playas del Coco is about an hour away. The volcanoes Rincon de la Vieja and Tenorio are about 2 and a half hours away. The famous Ostional, where the turtles arrive in the thousands, is about two hours away. Playa Grande is a very famous surfing beach, excellent for all levels, with consistent swells, many surf breaks and small crowds. The place is for two persons max. One small to medium-sized well-behaved dog may be allowed but it must stay in the lounge area when in the lot. Cats are not allowed because of the delicate ecosystem of the area.
