About this house rental
On the ground floor, you will be welcomed in to the bright and cosy living room, providing a lovely space to unwind after a day of exploring, along with a well-equipped kitchen where you can enjoy relaxed breakfasts and home-cooked meals. There is also a convenient WC on this floor.
Upstairs, the first floor features a stunning bedroom with plenty of room to settle in and relax, alongside the family bathroom. The second floor is home to a further bedroom with Japanese style twin beds, that can also be made into a king size bed, making the cottage particularly well suited to couples, families or friends travelling together.
With comfortable accommodation spread across the three floors, there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their own corner of the house while still having inviting communal areas to come together.
Our cottage is perfectly placed for making the most of Malmesbury. Known as England’s oldest borough, this picturesque market town is full of history and charm, with its magnificent 12th-century Malmesbury Abbey, historic Market Cross, independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants all waiting to be discovered. The town also has lovely walks along the River Avon and a weekly farmers’ and artisan market, making it easy to enjoy a taste of local life during your stay.
The cottage also makes a fantastic base for exploring further afield. The surrounding Wiltshire and Cotswold countryside offers beautiful walks, villages and historic attractions, while popular destinations including Westonbirt Arboretum, the Cotswold Water Park, Tetbury, Cirencester and Bath are all within easy reach.
Whether you`re looking for a peaceful countryside escape, a base for exploring the Cotswolds or simply somewhere comfortable to stay while enjoying everything Malmesbury has to offer, Olea Cottage provides a warm and welcoming home away from home.
