Welcome to Custer Central Cottage, a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home perfectly situated in the heart of Custer, South Dakota. Comfortable, convenient, and centrally located, this inviting home makes an ideal getaway for families, couples, friends, and outdoor adventurers looking to experience everything the Black Hills has to offer.

One of the best parts of staying here is the location. You`re right in Custer, with restaurants, groceries, shops, and local favorites within walking distance or just a quick drive away. When you`re ready to explore, some of the Black Hills` most iconic destinations—including Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Memorial, Sylvan Lake, Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave National Park, and Jewel Cave—are all within easy reach.

After a full day of scenic drives, hiking, wildlife watching, or sightseeing, come back to a comfortable home where your group can relax and recharge.

* The primary renter is required to sign the Renter`s Agreement before checking in. This document comprehensively outlines the rules, policies, and terms governing your stay with us.

* Propane Exchanges: We do not directly exchange propane tanks. During business hours, if our team is available, we may be able to assist with an exchange.

* Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours, 8am-5pm.

* Reservations made by local residents require additional review and approval before confirmation.

* Any request to host a small gathering that exceeds the standard occupancy limit will incur an additional $250 fee.

* All gatherings are subject to prior approval by management and must be disclosed before booking. Please note that visitors are not permitted to stay overnight

* Cancellation policy: If you wish to cancel your reservation, we will process your cancellation in accordance with the cancellation policy associated with your booking. Please note that any applicable payment processing fees will be deducted from your refund, as these fees are non-refundable.
Other House Rules:

1. If any issues arise during your stay, it’s essential to communicate with us promptly. Good communication between the guest and host is critical to ensuring a smooth and successful stay. You should respond to us (the hosts) within 24 hours when we reach out to resolve an issue. In certain situations, we may need to send our case manager to review the situation in person to fully address any concerns.

Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours, 8am-5pm

2. It is a `must` to read the entire listing description and the house rules of our property. If, in this case, you DO NOT read over our listing description or house rules and are not comfortable with something that is clearly stated, we will uphold our cancellation policies.

3. No unregistered guests/visitors unless preapproved

4. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10PM and always be respectful of the neighbors.

5. No parties or events unless previously organized in writing with the host. If there’s evidence of a party or event, there’ll be an additional charge of $200.

6. For noise complaints:
6.1 If we receive any noise complaints from neighbors, a security guard will be called out to the property at a cost of $85 to guests for the first call-out.
6.2. If security is called a second time during your stay, you will be charged a $250 fee and be removed from the premises with no refund of your stay.
