Stunning 3Bed Victorian Central Home

Welcome to our beautifully refurbished Victorian home, offering a fantastic amount of space while retaining the character and charm of a traditional Cambridge property. The house is ideal for families, friends or corporate guests looking for a comfortable base within easy reach of central Cambridge.

As you enter, you will find a beautiful hallway with newly laid flooring leading through to a comfortable living area with a Smart TV, double sofa and two armchairs. There is also a dining area with a table seating up to six guests.

For families travelling with little ones, we provide a travel cot which guests are very welcome to put up during their stay. Please note that we do not provide cot bedding, as we appreciate that babies and young children will usually require their own familiar bedding, and for hygiene and safety reasons.

The brand new kitchen is fully equipped for your stay and includes a washing machine, separate tumble dryer, microwave and everything you need for cooking and dining.

Upstairs you will find three comfortable double bedrooms and a newly fitted family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Garden and shared access

As is common with Victorian terraced properties in Cambridge, it is really important that guests understand the access arrangements before booking.

Access to the rear of the property is via a shared gated alleyway. Our next door neighbours also use this alleyway to access the rear of their home and to bring bicycles in and out. It is predominantly very quiet, but you may occasionally see our neighbours coming and going through this area.

The main garden has a picnic bench and is a lovely space to sit outside and enjoy during your stay. Please be aware that the main garden is not completely fenced or enclosed. This is intentional because our next door neighbours require access through this area to reach their property. They therefore have a right of access and may occasionally pass through this part of the garden when entering or leaving their home.

Separate studio annex

There is also a newly refurbished, self contained studio annex at the rear of the property. The studio is NOT included within this listing and may be occupied separately during your stay.

Guests staying in the studio access it via the same shared side alleyway as the main house. Once they reach the studio, however, it has its own separate, private and fully fenced garden area, so the studio and its outdoor space are distinct from the main house.

We want to be completely transparent about the layout so that guests understand that although you have the main house and its garden to enjoy, you may occasionally see either our next door neighbours passing through the shared access area or guests making their way to and from the separate studio.

Booking the house and studio together

We also have a separate listing which includes both the main house and the studio annex. Booking the two together creates a fantastic four bedroom stay with additional living space, a second bathroom and an additional kitchenette, making it particularly suitable for larger families, two families travelling together or groups who would appreciate a little extra privacy.

You are very welcome to enquire if you would like to book both the house and studio together. If the combined listing is not showing as available on the platform you are using, this may mean that the studio has already been booked separately for some or all of your selected dates.

Parking

Street parking is available around the property and generally guests are able to find a space nearby. As with many central Cambridge locations, availability can vary depending on the time of day. If there is not a space directly outside when you first arrive, there is additional street parking throughout the surrounding roads and you may initially need to park a little further away. Spaces regularly become available throughout the day, often allowing you to move your car closer to, or directly outside, the property later.

A peaceful Cambridge base

The house is designed for guests visiting Cambridge to explore the city, spend time with family and loved ones, or for corporate stays where guests appreciate having their own bedrooms alongside comfortable communal space.

Parties and events are strictly not permitted at this property. We ask all guests to be considerate of our neighbours and any guests staying in the separate studio, and to enjoy the property as a peaceful and comfortable home during their time in Cambridge.
