Gooseberry Falls State Park, just 13 minutes away, features spectacular waterfalls, hiking trails, and a visitor center with interpretive displays. Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, approximately 20 minutes away, offers scenic views and historical insights into the iconic lighthouse. Tettegouche State Park, stretching over two miles of Lake Superior’s shore, includes six inland lakes, waterfalls, and trails for hiking and cross-country skiing. George H. Crosby Manitou State Park, about 48 miles away, provides a more secluded wilderness experience, while Flood Bay Wayside, just 2.9 miles from the apartment, is ideal for agate hunting and wave watching. The apartment is located on the second floor only accessible by stairs. There is keypad access to the building and unit. Parking is located in the back behind the buildinng.
The apartment provides a comfortable and inviting home base, ensuring a restful return after a day of exploration. Located on the second floor, accessible only by stairs, they feature a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and mini split air conditioning. A laundry machine is available on the same floor, and a small, shared deck at the back of the building offers an outdoor space.

Parking is available on the street in front of the building or there is a public parking lot behind the building (not in the restaurant staff parking lot). The lot runs between 5th St. and 7th St., along South Ave., kitty-corner from Castle Danger Brewery.
