The Space:
The layout The whole 49 m² apartment is yours — no shared rooms, no host on site.
Bedroom 1 — extra-large double bed, wardrobe, socket at the bedside. Bedroom 2 — two single beds (easy for kids, friends or family who don't share). Living room — sofa bed for a 5th guest if you need it, dining table, desk for working, flat-screen TV with cable and Netflix. Kitchen — fully equipped and genuinely usable: oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, full set of pots, pans and utensils. Guests cook here constantly and tell us it's one of the reasons they book. Bathroom — private, with both a bathtub and a shower, hairdryer, towels and free toiletries. Balcony — outdoor furniture, city and garden views. Good for morning coffee.
The things that make a stay easy Washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board — useful if you're here for a week or arriving off a hiking trail. Fast 52 Mbps WiFi throughout (speed-tested), fine for 4K streaming and video calls on several devices at once. Central heating that's already warm when you arrive in winter, and a fan for summer. Parquet floors throughout. Lift in the building, so no stairs with luggage.

The entire apartment is yours for the duration of your stay, including the balcony and the free parking space. The building also has a lift, a shared lounge, a small playground, a mini-market and a hairdresser downstairs — handy for a longer stay.
The Neighborhood:
You're on a quiet street on the Bartolomeu side of Brașov, in a normal residential neighbourhood where people live rather than a tourist strip. Guests consistently describe it as safe and calm.
A Kaufland supermarket is within walking distance, so you can shop properly and cook — a real advantage with a family. There's also a mini-market in the building for the things you forget.
Everything in the historic centre is close by car: Council Square and Casa Sfatului (4.4 km), the White Tower (4.5 km), the Blacksmiths' Bastion and the Black Tower (4.7 km), Catherine's Gate (4.8 km) and the First Romanian School Museum (5 km). Paradisul Acvatic waterpark — a lifesaver on a rainy day with kids — is 4.3 km away.
Brașov is also the natural base for the rest of the county: Râșnov fortress is 13 km, Lake Noua and Parc Aventura are about 10 km, and Poiana Brașov and Bran Castle are easy half-day trips
Getting Around:
By car — free parking at the property, no reservation needed, plus free street parking. Being outside the centre is an advantage here: parking in Brașov's Old Town is genuinely painful. Drive in, park at your sights, come back to a guaranteed space.
By bus — guests report reaching the centre in under 20 minutes. The stop is close by and I'll send you the exact route and stop before you arrive.
By train — Bartolomeu station is 1.7 km away; Brașov's main station is a short ride if you're arriving by rail.
From the airport — Brașov-Ghimbav International is only 6 km away, about 10 minutes. I can arrange a transfer for an extra fee, or a taxi is quick and inexpensive.
You do not need a car to stay here, but you'll get more out of Brașov County if you have one.
