About this apartment rental

Stay in a Piece of Rico's Mining History

30-night minimum stay • Discounts available for stays of 90+ nights.

Welcome to the Historic Rico Miners Apartment, a beautifully remodeled one-bedroom retreat located in the heart of downtown Rico, Colorado. Set within the historic Hinckley House, this property was once the private residence, office, guest quarters, and workshop of Sherman Hinckley, president of the Rico Argentine Mining Company from the post-World War II era until the mine's closure in 1971. Today, the carefully restored property offers three unique private accommodations that blend Rico's rich mining heritage with modern comforts.

Located directly across from the Historic Courthouse and just one block from Main Street, you'll be within walking distance of restaurants, the Dolores River, and local trails while enjoying easy year-round access.

Only 25 miles from Telluride and Mountain Village Gondola, this apartment is an ideal home base for an extended mountain stay. The SMART Shuttle to Telluride conveniently picks up just one block away.
