You’re close to the larger Broken Bow and Hochatown area, where the vibe shifts from pine-covered cabin country to restaurants, coffee shops, local shops, and outdoor attractions around Beavers Bend and Broken Bow Lake. It’s a laid-back area where most people come to spend time outdoors and enjoy the cabin between outings.

A car is the easiest way to get around Broken Bow and the surrounding Hochatown area, especially for reaching Beavers Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake, restaurants, and shops. Public transportation is limited, so most visitors drive their own vehicle or use local rideshare or tour services when available. Parking is generally handled at individual properties and attractions, while busier weekends and summer dates can mean more traffic along the main routes into Hochatown.

Broken Bow is a great place to slow down and enjoy the outdoors, with the pine forests, Kiamichi Mountains, and Broken Bow Lake setting the scene for hiking, boating, fishing, kayaking, and scenic drives. Beavers Bend State Park is the area’s big draw, while nearby Hochatown adds plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, local shops, live music, and cabin-country charm. It’s a nice mix of nature and things to do, so you can spend the day exploring and still have plenty of reasons to linger over dinner or unwind back at the cabin.

✓ The cabin is tucked in the woods, so you may see wildlife like deer and occasional insects—pretty normal for the area, especially during warmer months.
✓ We recommend using Google Maps instead of Apple Maps, as Apple Maps can be unreliable in this area of Broken Bow. We’ll also send clear arrival directions.
✓ Firewood isn’t always provided, so you may want to grab some locally for the fire pit. Please fully extinguish fires after use and clean the grill after grilling.
✓ Age requirement: The minimum age to book is 18. We kindly ask that no parties or events are held—any violations may result in immediate termination of the stay.
✓ Fireplaces (indoor) : Available for use from October 1 – March 31.
