About this house rental
Welcome to Mkoko Villa. The villa is located in Fumba, about 30 minutes drive from Stone Town and 20 minutes drive from the airport. Fumba is a quiet area, so this is the perfect place if you want to get away from noise and stress from the city and tourist areas. The villa is by the oceanfront, surrounded by mangrove forest. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset from the rooftop terrace, where you can also witness a wonderful seaview. We can also tempt you with our own private bay and swimming pool.
Our oceanfront villa is a modern villa with a minimalistic style mixed with african details. We have recently done some maintenance work inside and upgraded the property with a swimmingpool and outdoor lounge area.
All 3 bedrooms has kingsize beds and private bathrooms. Its also a guest toilet in the villa.
The livingroom and kitchen is one big open area. The kitchen is fully furnished. The power source in the house is electric power, and solar power as backup.
It’s AirCondition and fans in all rooms, and it’s hot water in the showers.
Its Wifi in the villa.
The villa has a private cove surrounded by mongrove forest. Note that when it is low tide, it is not possible to swim in the ocean. But you have the unique opportunity to discover mangrove forest walking.
Please note we are in a remote location and you will need a car to explore the area and the island.
Fumba Town offers a wide variety of amenities. Playgrounds for the kids, co-working spaces, a gym, a supermarket, a library, a food court, a beach bar, lush green parks, and a European-standard health care facility.
We provide a free airport or town pick-up with a minimum of 5 night stay, and also free drop-off with a minimum 7 night stay. If you wish to have an early check-in or late check-out, please ask when you make the booking and we will accommodate you if we don’t have guests at the time. We price our house according to the season and demand, so please do not ask for further discounts.
It’s not a washing machine in the villa, but our worker can be helpful to arrange laundry for you.
We have security cameras installed, but only outside. The cameras are not directed to record inside the villa, only outside for security reasons.
Our worker is taking care of the place, and if required he can provide security at night.
