We really liked how close the house was to the canal and having easy access to the lake. The kids had a lot of fun using the inflatables, and there was enough to do around the house and on the water that we could enjoy ourselves without having to leave all the time.
The location was also really convenient. We were close enough to Granbury to head into town, go to Granbury City Beach Park, grab something to eat, or find other things to do. We ate at Grumps Burgers while we were there and spent some time at the beach park.
It was also a good location for the other things we had planned for the kids. Glen Rose was within driving distance, so we were able to do Fossil Rim Wildlife Center and Dinosaur World during the trip.
Overall, it worked really well for our family because we could enjoy the lake house, but we were still close enough to Granbury and Glen Rose to get out and do different things with the kids.
