The historical farm (pazo) near to a fountain (da fonte) is one of the most amazing places I have ever seen. Within the historical stone walls one meets up to date technical facilities including WiFi/TV and an open fire stove (pellets). All interieurs breathe a tasty plain atmosphere not distracting but concentrating on the essential, yet not missing charming details like candles in different nice candle holders, pictures, some books and games.
I loved it, because it's a calming sourrounding.
From the little wooden terrace You can view over the wide yard and enjoy the picturesque sourrounding of the village of Xornes. And even a little church belongs to the farm, offering silence to the soul.
The landlord Lucia is one of the most pleasant persons I met: uncomplicated, helpful and supporting the guest with very useful informations about the infrastructure, sightseeing-highlights and traditional galician culture: It couldn't be better!
And the landscape offers a lot of wonderful places to see, even back in time until celtic iron-age times.
And wherever You are: You meet very friendly and helpful people: Galicia is wonderful!
We will come back.
