Peninsula Family Resort with Pool

Escape to the Mornington Peninsula and settle into this spacious Tootgarook getaway, perfectly positioned just 200 metres from Whites Beach and moments from everything Rye and Capel Sound have to offer. Designed for laid-back stays with family and friends, this five-bedroom home comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests.



Five bedrooms, a 12-metre heated pool and Whites Beach just 200 metres from the front door. This fully fenced Tootgarook resort sleeps 16, so two or three families can holiday together without living on top of each other, only one hour's drive from Melbourne.



The main house has two generous living areas, a dining table that seats 12 people, a modern kitchen (all basics provided like salt pepper olive oil ect), two bathrooms and reverse-cycle heating and cooling for year-round comfort. Log gas heater and a cinema room where the kids can hang out. There are four Bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite. The bunk room, with two queen-over-queen bunks, is the kids' favourite and there are two further bedrooms with Queen beds



Set apart from the main house, the Marlin Studio looks on to the pool area, has its own queen bed and private ensuite. It's ideal for grandparents, a couple wanting their own space, or teenagers who want a little independence. It has a drop-down smart TV that rotates 360 degrees for your viewing comfort from the pool or the studio. Great for watching summer cricket while lounging in the pool





Wide sliding doors open onto the backyard, where the 12-metre solar-heated pool is the centre of every summer day. The covered pergola seats 14 at one long table, with a 6-burner gas BBQ for long lunches while keeping an eye on the kids in the pool made easy for family dinners. There's plenty of lawn for backyard cricket and pétanque, and the whole yard is fully fenced, so the kids can run free.



Romney Park, with its basketball court and skate ramps, is under 200 metres away. The foreshore bike/walk trail runs along the bay, so the family can cycle/walk between Rye and Rosebud past beaches, cafes and playgrounds. Peninsula Hot Springs, championship golf courses, the Red Hill wineries and restaurants and Bars are all a short drive away (see local activities below).

Just a 200-metre walk from the house, Whites Beach is known for its calm water and white sand. It's ideal for swimming, especially for young kids, cycling and walking with the family. Stroll along the foreshore to Rye Pier or the Rosebud pier for sweeping views over Port Phillip Bay.



Golf

2. Point Nepean National Park Explore wildlife, the historic Quarantine Station, World War II bunkers and stunning coastal scenery by bike or on foot.
