About this house rental
Cocoonr is offering this eco-friendly oasis for rent in Aiguefonde, set in the heart of the countryside with views of the lake. The house has a floor area of 300 m² and can accommodate up to 8 guests. Bed linen and towels are included – we’re just waiting for you!
The various rooms in the house are spread over the ground floor and first floor.
On the ground floor, you will find:
- A 90 m² living area with a fireplace (first fire provided), sofas and a dining area
- A fully fitted kitchen including: oven, toaster, dishwasher, hob, etc.
- A shower room
- Two separate toilets
On the first floor, you will find:
- Bedroom 1: a double bed (140×190) and a single bunk bed (90×190)
- Bedroom 2: three single beds, including a bunk bed (90×190)
- Bedroom 3: two single beds (90×190)
- Bedroom 4: one double bed (140×190)
- Bedroom 5: two single beds, one of which is a bunk bed (90×190)
- Two separate toilets
Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional facilities: barbecue, high chair, washing machine, cot, iron and ironing board.
Outdoors:
- An unfenced outdoor area (forest, woodland, meadows, pond) covering over 10 hectares, as well as three fenced-in paddocks for horses.
- A 50 m² south-facing terrace with outdoor furniture to enjoy the sunny days
The house is ideally situated in Aiguefonde, in the heart of the forest, surrounded by unspoilt countryside. It is wonderfully peaceful, with no neighbours nearby. As the lake is not fenced off, children remain the responsibility of their parents.

If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house’s private car park (around 50 spaces).
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that you may find useful:
- Nearest railway station: Mazamet, 6 km away
- Nearest airport: Castres Mazamet, 23 km away
Other notes:
- Bed linen and towels included.
- The fireplace is in working order; the first fire is provided (additional fires are subject to a surcharge, payable on site to the local manager).
- Pets are allowed, subject to a supplement of €15 per day per pet. Please specify this when booking. Please note that there are already animals on the premises (cats, dogs, geese and horses).
- A 100m² practice room can also be hired for an additional charge.

- End-of-stay cleaning is included in your booking and comprises preparing the accommodation for future guests. We would be grateful if you could leave the property in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use.
- Any request for arrival or departure outside the specified times is subject to the availability of the person in charge of check-in. A flat-rate surcharge may apply.
- Please note: the house is semi-detached from two small houses (owned by the proprietors). Each property has its own private area to ensure everyone’s peace and privacy.
