After more than a decade visiting Angel Fire, and seven years specifically staying in the Ski Run complex, we finally bought our own place here. We know exactly what makes a mountain stay great, because we spent years experiencing Angel Fire from the guest side first. Ski Run Base Camp sits just 150 yards from the Dreamcatcher Lift and right above the new Angel Fire Express, close enough to duck in at lunch, warm up by a real fire, and head back out refreshed. It's a classic mountain condo in a quiet, wooded shared building, not a resort tower, tucked into the aspens and pines, with three private balconies that put the forest and mountains right outside your door.

The Space
Two bedrooms with queen beds, 2.5 bathrooms, and a full kitchen mean you can actually settle in, not just crash for the night. Vaulted ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace anchor the living room. After a day on the mountain, this is where you land. The kitchen is fully stocked for real cooking, not just reheating, and an in-unit washer and dryer means you can pack light. Keyless keypad entry makes self check-in easy after a long drive.

A True Four-Season Basecamp
Winter brings skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and Nordic trails, all just steps from your door. Come summer, the same condo becomes a basecamp for mountain biking, hiking, zip-lining, disc golf, fishing, and Music From Angel Fire concerts down the road. Village restaurants, breweries, and the Angel Fire Country Club are minutes away. Taos is 25 miles; Santa Fe is 93 miles. This isn't a place that only works four months a year.

Good to Know
This is a classic mountain condo with real character, not a brand-new build. If you want a comfortable, well-located base with a wood-burning fireplace and genuine mountain atmosphere, you'll feel right at home. As a condo in a shared building, walls are shared with neighboring units, so light sleepers should keep this in mind. There's no hot tub, pool, or clubhouse on-site. The draw here is the location, not resort amenities.
