Walking is one of the best ways to explore the neighbourhood. Regent’s Park, Marylebone High Street, Baker Street, the Sherlock Holmes Museum and Madame Tussauds are all within a short walk. You can also easily wander towards Oxford Street, Regent Street and Soho, taking in some of London’s beautiful architecture and hidden streets along the way.
Underground
Baker Street Underground Station is the closest major station and provides excellent connections across London, with the Bakerloo, Circle, Hammersmith & City, Jubilee and Metropolitan lines all running through the station. Marylebone Underground Station is also nearby and is served by the Bakerloo line, making it easy to reach destinations such as Oxford Circus, Paddington and central London.
Train
Marylebone Station is particularly useful for journeys outside central London, with direct National Rail services towards destinations including Oxford, Aylesbury and the surrounding areas.
Bus
There are plenty of bus routes running through the surrounding streets, offering a convenient way to travel above ground while taking in the sights. Buses are particularly handy for shorter journeys where you may prefer to avoid the Tube.
