The Hideaway at Shaver Lake is a charming A-frame tucked in the quiet Sierra Cedars neighborhood. Fully remodeled with modern finishes and cozy cabin charm, this multi-level retreat offers open living spaces, a loft area, and multiple hangout spots for families and groups. Enjoy the private balcony, wood-burning fireplace, and spacious deck with firepit—just a short drive to the lake, shops, and dining.

Living Room (Main Level): The main living area features an open-concept layout designed for gathering and relaxing. A comfortable couch and two chairs are arranged around the Smart TV, while the wood-burning fireplace adds that classic cozy cabin feel that’s perfect for cooler mountain evenings.

Kitchen & Dining: The fully remodeled kitchen offers modern finishes and comes stocked with all the basic dishes, cookware, and essentials guests may need during their stay. A thoughtfully designed coffee bar includes coffee, tea, and hot chocolate to start your mornings off right. The dining table comfortably seats six, with additional seating for two at the kitchen island, making it easy for everyone to gather together.

Downstairs: Downstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms located at the end of the hallway, along with a full-size bathroom and a laundry room available for guest use. One bedroom features a full-size bed, while the second bedroom includes a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on top.

Upstairs: Upstairs offers a second living space, giving guests extra room to spread out and unwind. This area includes a Smart TV and a selection of board games, creating a fun and relaxed hangout spot. The primary bedroom is also located on this level and features a king-size bed, Smart TV, and an oversized chair for reading or relaxing. Guests will also enjoy access to a private balcony directly off the bedroom. A half bathroom is conveniently located between the bedroom and second living space.

Loft & Additional Sleeping Space: Continuing up another set of stairs, the loft provides a fun and cozy retreat that kids especially will love. This space includes two twin beds, a Pac-Man arcade machine, jumbo Connect 4, a Smart TV, and additional games. To the left of the loft, there is a small bedroom equipped with a twin daybed, offering even more flexible sleeping arrangements.

Outdoor Space: The outdoor deck is set up for both relaxation and entertaining, featuring a BBQ grill, outdoor dining table, and comfortable seating including rocking chairs and a firepit area. Whether you’re enjoying a summer evening outside or gathering around the fire, this space is perfect for taking in the peaceful surroundings. During the winter months, the property also offers plenty of space around the home for playing in the snow.

The stairs leading to the upstairs loft space are a bit steep. We provide two baby gates for families to use to block off these stairs as needed.

AC: Unfortunately, this house does NOT have air conditioning. However, the ceiling fans throughout the house help keep the house cool during summer.

Heating: The house is equipped with electric wall heaters throughout the house. Guests are also welcome to use the indoor fireplace but will need to provide your own firewood to use.

Parking: You can comfortably park up to 4 vehicles at this house.

Trash: For guests that are staying at the property on Sunday nights, please note that our handyman will stop by the property to take the trash out to be dumped on Monday morning.
