Trailside Hike & Bike Haven - 0.1 Mile from the Swamp Rabbit Trail!

Discover the beauty of Travelers Rest and nearby Greenville from Trailside Hike & Bike Haven. This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home sits on 1/2 acre just 0.1 miles from the Swamp Rabbit Trail, which runs 30+ miles from just north of our charming little town right through downtown Greenville.

The home offers absolutely everything you will need for a fun and comfortable stay. The cozy living area has a plush sofa with chaise, side chair, and a custom natural wood table. A smart TV with all of your favorite streaming services (be sure to bring your log-in info) as well as an antenna to check the local broadcast is mounted for viewing from the sitting or kitchen area. The beautifully-appointed open concept kitchen has 2 ceiling fans, full refrigerator, stove and cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, blender, coffee pot (filters provided), as well as k-cup brew machine. Also provided are kitchen sponges, towels, dishwashing soap, dishwasher tabs, paper towels, and garbage bags. All cookware, dinnerware, utensils, and food storage are provided as well. The adjacent laundry area provides additional storage and counter space, as well as laundry pods for use. Here, you will also find a little bitty library. Finish a book while here? Add it to the library, and take another home with you!

The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed with side tables, reading lamps, and two ceiling fans. There are two closets as well as a dresser and 2 luggage racks. Another smart TV with antenna is in this room. Also, there is a small work space with whiteboard should you have to do a little work while here. Just don't do too much! For those of you who want a little extra movement when you are not out exploring, you will also find a Stay Fit Kit in this room.

The secondary bedroom has a queen-sized bed with side tables, reading lamps, and a ceiling fan. There is another smart TV with antenna, as well as a closet and a luggage rack for use in this room.

Both bedrooms also provide a mirror for when you've got multiple people getting ready for the day, or perhaps a night out.

The bathroom features a tiled shower with rain and handheld showerheads with a bench and a niche to hold your personal products. Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, as well as hand soap at the vanity and a hair dryer (with diffuser for my curly girls)! All towels are in the cabinet. Toilet tissue and facial tissues are also provided.

Out front and under cover is an outdoor seating area that is so perfect for either morning coffee or after-dinner cocktails. Our street is very quiet and the overhead fan provides a nice breeze.

Out back you will find a deck with table and chairs as well as a gas grill. There is a 42" FIREPIT Nights steel firepit, as well as fire-starting kits and firewood next to the shed. We also have a bench swing in the shade of the tree for another little spot to chill.

Towards the back of the 1/2 acre lot, the 10' x 20' shed provides secure bike storage with bike racks and a spot for helmets and shoes. There is a bike stand should you need to do a little tuning while here as well as a pump.

Travelers Rest is perfectly situated between the vibrant downtown of Greenville and the mountains of both North and South Carolina. The Swamp Rabbit Trail affords you the opportunity to park your car and walk or bike to so many places, without ever getting back in until it is, sadly, time to leave.
