About this cottage rental
This spacious and stylish semi-detached house sits in an elevated position and has been stylishly fitted and furnished and offers a large decked area perfect for sunbathing and relaxing, whilst being within walking distance of a popular sandy beach. Westward Ho! is just a short walk to many amenities including the popular surfing beach, championship golf course, tennis courts, shops, pubs, and restaurants. Perfect for touring North Devon, the market town of Bideford is a short drive and is home to the Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island. Other attractions include Clovelly with its cobbled street, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and much more.
Walking up the external steps and across the decking you enter the property into the lounge with bay windows, sea views, wood burner, comfy sofas and large Sky Glass with Netflix and Playstation 4 (alongside a Xbox and TV in one of the twin rooms). Glazed folding doors can be used to divide this area into 2 snug lounges. The dining room has superb sea views through the bay window, another wood burner making it a great place to tuck into a hearty breakfast or a warming evening meal, the large dining table can easily seat up to 12. Onto the equally spacious kitchen/breakfast room which equipped with electric double oven and induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and conservatory roof allowing natural light to flood in. An adjoining utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer plus storage cupboards which also house body boards for your use. There is also a separate WC and door to the courtyard and hot tub. Heading upstairs to the first floor there are five bedrooms, two doubles with sea views and en-suite shower rooms with shower and WC, one double with three steps down to an additional two single beds /nursery area and en-suite shower room with WC, and one twin. On this floor you will also find the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Lastly there is one twin in the pretty attic room, on the second floor, with en-suite shower room and WC.
Outside is a large enclosed decked area with garden furniture and BBQ perfect for outdoor dining.
