    We reached the hotel around 12:00 midnight, and despite having a confirmed booking through Agoda, there was no proper reception service or staff available. The hotel had not contacted us even once before our arrival to confirm our late-night check-in or make any arrangements. There was no proper parking, and we had to park on the roadside. We called the manager to get our room. He answered and said he would come, but we waited for a very long time. There were also other guests waiting for their rooms. We called the manager 3–4 times, and every time he said he was coming, but nobody arrived. We were literally freezing outside in Ooty’s cold weather, waiting for someone to give us access to our room. After around 2:00 AM, we finally managed to get assistance. The reception was dark, and an office boy was sleeping there. He appeared intoxicated and was initially unable to properly assist us. Eventually, we were given a room that was not properly clean and had a bad smell, and there was no water available. Since it was already very late and we had no other option, we had to stay there for the night. We had also booked breakfast, but the breakfast was extremely disappointing. There was no proper choice or flexibility, and if you wanted anything different, you had to pay extra. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Poor management, no proper late-night check-in arrangement, no parking, unclean room, bad smell, no water, and disappointing breakfast. I definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you are arriving late at night.
