Quiet, residential Queen Anne with an urban village feel; close to Seattle Center (Space Needle, museums, theaters), Kerry Park viewpoint, and small café/retail clusters on Queen Anne Avenue and in Lower Queen Anne (Uptown). Interbay and Ballard are a short drive to the northwest for restaurants, breweries and the Ballard Locks. The neighborhood is known for scenic viewpoints, walkable local shops, and being a convenient base for downtown sightseeing without being in the busy core.
Walking: Many local errands, parks and cafés are walkable (short but sometimes steep walks). Transit: Multiple King County Metro bus routes serve Lower/West Queen Anne and Uptown, providing frequent connections to downtown, South Lake Union and Fremont/Ballard. Link light rail (Westlake Station) and the South Lake Union/Westlake transit spine are a short bus or monorail ride away. Cycling: Bike lanes exist on several nearby streets but expect hill climbs; e‑bikes are commonly used. Rideshare/taxis: Readily available; good option for nights/outside peak bus hours. Driving: Easy access to Aurora Avenue N (State Route 99) and Elliott Avenue W for north–south travel; expect variable curb parking rules and occasional congestion during events at Seattle Center.
