THE SPACE

Arrive, and the noise stops.

Sunrise Ridge sits alone on its own wooded shoulder of Angel Fire, surrounded by ten private acres of aspen and framed by an uninterrupted view of the Sangre de Cristos. There is no neighbor's porch light. There is no road noise. There is a mountain range, the sound of wind through aspen leaves, and 4,100 square feet of warm, well-appointed calm waiting on the other side of the door.

The home spans three levels and sleeps seventeen— comfortably, without anyone drawing the short straw. Radiant heat runs beneath the floors, so the house is warm underfoot the moment you walk in from the snow. It's the kind of detail you don't notice until you've stayed somewhere without it.

The Main Floor

The living room opens wide and bright, anchored by a wood-burning fireplace with a gas starter — a real fire in under a minute, no kindling, no coaxing. Ceiling fans turn overhead. A smart TV waits for the evening no one feels like leaving the couch.

The kitchen is built for people who actually cook. Updated appliances throughout, a pressure cooker and air fryer for the nights that need to be easy, a drip coffee maker for the mornings that shouldn't be rushed. The island seats four; the dining table seats eight. Wine glasses are already in the cabinet. Just beyond the door, a propane grill sits on the deck with the whole valley in front of it.

The Primary Suite

King bed. Smart TV. Ceiling fan. An en-suite bath with double sinks — and a private balcony with a Nordic hot tub, which is the real reason you'll remember this room.

Angel Fire sits at 8,400 feet with some of the darkest skies in the American Southwest. Step out after dinner, sink into the water, and the Milky Way is simply there, close enough to feel unfair. In winter, steam rises off the tub while snow falls through the aspens. It is the single best twenty minutes of most stays here.

Down the Hall

Two more bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with a king share a full bath with a tub/shower combination. A dedicated laundry room sits on this level too — so the drive home starts with clean clothes instead of a full duffel.

Upstairs

A quiet loft with two queen beds and a ceiling fan. Tucked away and slightly removed — the room teenagers claim first and the room that makes a big group work.

Downstairs

The lower level is where the evenings run long. A pool table that doubles as a ping-pong table, a smart TV, a queen futon and a twin futon make a game room that's genuinely worth staying in. A fifth bedroom with a king bed and its own full bath sits just off it — ideal for a second couple, in-laws, or anyone who'd like their own corner of the house.

Outside

A large deck for morning coffee and afternoon grilling. Ten acres to wander. A two-car garage for guests, plus room for two to five vehicles on-site — a rarity in Angel Fire, and a relief when the group arrives in three cars.

And then there's everything beyond the door.

The Angel Fire Ski Basin is 5.2 miles away — a fifteen-minute drive, close enough for a half-day on the slopes and back for lunch. Or you skip all of it, keep the fire going, and let the mountain do the entertaining.

A note on mountain weather. Angel Fire sits at 8,400 feet, and winter here is the real thing. Our properties are maintained by professional snow-plow crews and we make every effort to have your driveway clear on arrival — but a 4WD or AWD vehicle is required from November through April.

No air conditioning — and none needed. At this elevation, summer highs sit in the 70s and evenings cool into the 50s. Open a window and let the mountain handle it.
