About this house rental
Summary:
A 1918 cottage with real bones, original woodwork, hardwood floors, and a fully fenced backyard, tucked into walkable Weinland Park. Two bedrooms, two updated baths, a 2-car garage, and a location that puts OSU, the Short North, and downtown all within easy reach.
The Space:
This house has been standing since 1918, and it shows — in the good way. Original woodwork and hardwood floors run throughout, the kind of detail builders don't bother with anymore. But nothing here feels like a museum piece: the kitchen's been brought fully into this century with granite counters and rich wood cabinetry, and both bathrooms have custom tiled showers that feel more boutique hotel than rental.
Two decorative fireplaces anchor the living spaces with a little old-house drama. On the main floor, a private office doubles as a third sleeping area with two twin beds — a great setup for kids, an extra couple, or anyone who wants their own quiet corner without heading upstairs. A door fully separates this room from the rest of the house, so whoever's staying there gets real privacy rather than an open, shared space.
Out back, a privacy-fenced yard gives you something most city stays can't — an actual patch of quiet outside your door. Enjoy a seating area around a fire pit, bring your own firewood. Also included is a detached two-car garage means you're never circling the block for parking in a neighborhood that gets busy on game days.
Our area is right next to the Short North Arts District and Italian Village. The location itself is one of the more interesting pockets of Columbus right now: tree-lined, walkable, and close enough to Ohio State to feel the campus energy without living in the middle of it. The Short North's restaurants and galleries, Italian Village, and downtown are all a short walk or rideshare away.

Weinland Park/Italian Village is walkable, tree-lined, and steps from the OSU campus energy, with the Short North and downtown Columbus just minutes away.
Other Things to Note:
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).
PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:
$35 (Less than 5 nights)
$50 (5 - 30 nights)
$100 (30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked)
